To mark International Ask a Question Day on the 14th March, we spoke to our Conference and Events team to highlight some of the most frequently asked questions amongst our prospective guests and clients when booking their event at our award winning venue.

- I’m holding a conference in Manchester, how many people can Emirates Old Trafford accommodate?
Emirates Old Trafford has a multitude of venues, including The Point and The Pavilion, and can accommodate up to 2,000 delegates.
- My conference is going to run for two days. Is there any onsite accommodation?
Emirates Old Trafford is collaborating with Hilton to bring a brand new 150-bedroom Hilton Garden Inn which is due for completion in summer 2017. With 85 of the hotel bedrooms offering stunning pitch views from private balconies, an on-site restaurant and coffee shop, as well as a fitness and business centre means the hotel has something for everyone.
- Can I come and see the venue before booking?

- I am unsure about the theming/design for my event. Is there anyone who can help with my event planning?
At Emirates Old Trafford our dedicated and experienced Events Team are on hand to help you plan every aspect event, and can advise on all aspects of planning, including theming and design, and have experience of large conferences, awards dinners and weddings to name a few, and can put you in touch with a range of trusted suppliers such as ‘Ice’ and ‘Make Events’
- What is included in the room hire?
Emirates Old Trafford offers a range of options, including catering and hospitality, as well as a host of facilities not always available at other venues, such as movable interior walls, a mezzanine bar/reception area, large power supplies, an in-house PA system, colour changing LED lights, a digital signage system, electronic black out blinds and full Wi-Fi.

- My guests will be arriving by car. Is there on-site parking?
Your guests will have no trouble finding a space, with 500+ on-site parking spaces.
- What are the transport links like?
Emirates Old Trafford is in the perfect position for providing easy access by a range of transport, including by road; being just three miles from the city centre and the M60; by tram, being within a short stroll of the extensive Metrolink network, and by rail or air being within easy reach of all of Manchester’s key rail stations and only 20 minutes from the UK’s largest airport outside of London; Manchester International Airport.
- Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes! Emirates Old Trafford offers free guest Wi-Fi that can be accessed across the whole facility.
- Can I hold my wedding at Emirates Old Trafford?
Emirates Old Trafford can cater for small intimate gatherings to larger celebrations with capacity from 50 to 1,200. Although we don’t hold a wedding licence, couples can have a ceremony across the road at Trafford Town Hall, before coming to enjoy your wedding reception/celebration in one of our spectacular suites.
- What catering is available?
Our catering is everything you would expect, fresh, sustainable and innovative (not to mention delicious!), with the best quality locally-sourced ingredients used wherever possible. Our head chef Nic Ashurst is renowned for creating inspirational and contemporary menus.
- I want to hold a board meeting away from the office, does Emirates Old Trafford have space for this?
If you’re looking for an inspiring meeting room we have a range of event spaces to suit every need and budget. With meeting rooms to accommodate from 10 to 1,000 we have the right space for your requirements. Our luxurious Executive Boxes in the Pavilion are perfect for smaller, more intimate meetings, and offer exceptional catering and hospitality as well as sensational pitch views.
We know that finding the perfect venue for your event, whether it be a large conference for a 1,000, a more intimate meeting for 10, is incredibly important.
