A dynamic city for your event

Discover Manchester

Manchester is a truly dynamic, cultural, and vibrant city located in the heart of the North West. A hub for arts, culture, sporting events and business, Manchester is the perfect base for delegates to explore. Emirates Old Trafford is situated just three miles away from the city centre and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

On the doorstep of Emirates Old Trafford is Manchester’s unique waterfront destination, The Quays. Home to some of the most spectacular attractions and iconic buildings in the UK. Within one square mile visitors will find culture, history, heritage and sport interwoven throughout our venues; The Lowry, IWM North, part of Imperial War Museums, Manchester Cruises, Mersey Ferries and the world’s most famous football stadium, Manchester United.

Where to stay

The crowning glory of Emirates Old Trafford’s redevelopment will be completed in the summer of 2017 when a brand new 150-bedroom four star Hilton Garden Inn opens its doors at the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, so keep an eye out for news!
