  • Hilton Garden Inn appoints General Manager

    Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to welcome Michael Hewson as General Manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn which opens in 2017.

    Hewson brings over 17 years’ experience and arrives from The Academy Hotel in Bloomsbury, London where he held the position of General Manager. Previously to that, Michael worked at the 5 star Marriott, Threadneedles Hotel and the County Hall Hotel in London.

  • Hilton Garden Inn appoints Sales Manager

    Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to welcome Janice Barrington-Wood as Sales Manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn which opens this summer.

    Barrington-Wood brings over 20 years’ sales experience and arrives from the Hilton at Manchester Airport where she held the position of Sales Manager for four and a half years. Prior to that, Janice worked at the Etrop Grange and the MacDonald hotel in Chester working as Regional Sales Manager and Revenue Manager respectively.

  • Emirates Old Trafford celebrate ‘topping out’

    Emirates Old Trafford and Lancashire County Cricket Club celebrated reaching the highest point in the construction of its brand new Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.

    Representatives from contractor Galliford Try, Trafford Borough Council and Emirates Old Trafford were on the roof of the new development to celebrate the milestone.
